He observes how the popular kids each have a special talent that the other kids enjoy. Billy decides to discover his special talent, so he runs away from home on an overnight camping adventure into the forest. To his surprise he is visited by a slew of uninvited guests, and realizes running away wasnt such a good idea. Fortunately Billys bravery saves the day, he becomes a hero, and most importantly, learns the true secret to making friends. The detailed illustrations pack lots of tiny surprises. Written for ages 4 - 10, but adults are welcome to read it too.Joseph Pfeiffer was an amateur cartoonist during his 22 years in business. He drew for a variety of trade journals and magazines during that period, while also teaching children of various ages religious education. His education includes a BS in Business and an MBA, but Joe continued his education each year after college with a variety of business seminars, CED classes and workshops. He wrote technical manuals and instructional material as a consultant, but in 1995 he took an early retirement and wrote and illustrated a how-to Halloween humor book, Give Them a Real Scare This Halloween. He then rewrote and illustrated an almost forgotten story, which was originally written and illustrated almost forty years ago by his uncle, Robert Joseph Pfeiffer. Joe has already completed his second childrens book, and hopes to write and illustrate many more in the coming years with the hopes to inspire the talents and imagination of children of all ages.
